This never affects the ranking

No brand, seller, or manufacturer pays to influence a product’s position on any TopsNShops list. Every ranking is generated the same way regardless of commission rate, and the same statistical process is applied to every candidate in a category — see our Methodology page for how that process works.

Commission rates vary by Amazon product category, and this has no bearing on how a product is scored or where it lands in a ranking.

What we don’t do

• We don’t accept payment from brands or sellers for placement, review, or mention.
• We don’t inflate ratings or omit genuine drawbacks to protect a higher-commission product.
• We don’t use affiliate links from any programme other than Amazon Associates UK.
